The High Frequency (HF) strategy (below)
Teens with HF hearing loss usually have good loudness sensation and good hearing in the lower frequencies, but they often have difficulty understanding speech in noisy situations. The HF strategy aims to provide clarity without becoming intrusive.

Teens with BB hearing losses have difficulty hearing in ALL situations. They seek loudness and clarity. The BB fitting rational allows maximal hearing aid fitting flexibility.
