Gain settings are independently accessible for soft, speech, and loud inputs plus MPO within each of the eight channels. This helps you maximize the child’s restricted dynamic range

Case 2: Irregularly shaped audiograms

The challenge
To provide precise amplification across the frequency range.

The solution
The ability to independently adjust 8 different channels allows you to fit any hearing loss, irrespective of shape and configuration. Channel 7 can be adjusted to provide the appropriate gain - even at 4000 Hz.

Case 3: Left corner audiograms

The challenge
The child has no measured auditory thresholds above 2000 Hz.

The solution
Conventional instruments have only a limited number of LF channels. Sumo DM offers more channels below 2000 Hz, so precise frequency response shaping can be applied to match the child’s hearing
