The Safari Family

The Safari family consists of 3 behind-the-ear (BTE) models (312 BTE, 13P BTE, and 13 Super Power (SP), each including 3 performance/price categories, for a total of NINE instruments - all with dedicated pediatric features making Safari an attractive solution for babies, children and teens.

Safari comes in the following colors: Chroma Beige, Chestnut Brown, Steel Gray, Purple, Blue, Red, Baby Pink, Baby Blue, and Silver. AND NOW AVAILABLE in Diamond Black and Terracotta case colors, too! To further personalize the instruments, all Safari models come with 2 pages of stickers to suit a wide range of ages and personalities, including holiday themed-stickers! 

All Safari instruments are also accompanied by age-appropriate Hearing Aid Care Kits, designed for ages 0-4; 5-10; and 11-18. Each age-specific Care Kit includes brochures and items selected for the age range in mind; for example, the 0-4 Kit has more parent-focused brochures as well as the stuffed animal Otto with his own dummy hearing aids. The tween/teen Kit (11-18) has materials addressing the needs and concerns of the older child.

The Oticon Safari family is designed to help children with hearing loss get the very best out of every stage of their development.
