Delta Clarity & Voice Aligned Compression (VAC)

Delta hearing devices are available in two fitting strategies.

Clarity:

The clarity strategy is used most often for people with mild to moderate high frequency hearing loss. The clarity strategy is useful for providing a "clarity boost" and can be very useful in noisy backgrounds.

VAC:

The VAC strategy is often used to fit people with broadband hearing loss, when more power and contol is needed. VAC is used to restore loudness and clarity.

The curves show the differences between VAC and Clarity. The VAC amplification strategy provides more gain across the frequency range, whereas the Clarity focuses on higher frequencies, particularly in loud environments.
