How TriState Noise Management works

For the first time ever in a Super Power instrument, two noise management technologies are combined in the TriState Noise Management system.

The first of these is the VoiceFinder speech detection system, which recognizes the unique harmonic patterns of speech. This is integrated with a modulation-based noise reduction system to provide three operational modes.

1. Speech in quiet
   - when only speech is detected, the Noise Management system remains inactive, as no noise reduction is required.
2. Speech in Noise
   - when both speech and noise are detected, moderate speech-weighted attenuation is applied to preserve speech cues and reduce background noise
3. Noise only
   -  when only noise is detected, stronger noise reduction is applied in each channel, for optimum listening comfort.
