Oticon, Inc. Named “Employer of the Year” by Arc of Somerset County

The Arc of Somerset County has selected Oticon, Inc., a leading hearing device manufacturer, as the recipient of the organization’s “Employer of the Year” award. Oticon was honored for the company’s support of individuals with disabilities.  The Somerset-based company has worked closely with ARC to provide projects that utilize the unique skills and abilities of people with developmental disabilities who are served by Arc’s training and job placement programs.

“We are pleased to accept this award from the Arc of Somerset County,” said Oticon President Peer Lauritsen. “At Oticon, we are committed to People First.  Our hearing solutions always take into consideration the unique hearing care needs of the individual.  That same approach to seeing the person and not the disability is reflected in Oticon’s support of people with disabilities in our community.”
