Summer Camp 2012

The 15th annual Oticon Audiology Camp will take place July 28th through August 2nd in Keystone, Colorado. At this serene high mountain setting you will be the guest of Oticon, Inc. for five days of seminars, discussion and workshops.

This program is open to all students in a residential graduate program for Audiology in North America. Prior to attending, students should have completed at least one course in amplification. Selected participants will be notified by April 16, 2012. Students who have already attended this conference are not eligible to reapply. To be eligible for consideration the student must submit their name, address and other identifying information through our online registration website, www.regonline.com/oticoncamp2012. Be certain to indicate year of graduate study completed by May 2012.

This year’s program will focus on Caring for Individuals as Individuals. The information we gather from patients at all stages in the process and how this input is used to guide clinical care in amplification will be discussed in lectures and workshops.

Our guest faculty this year is Eileen Rall, Au.D. We will also have a special session during which a group of audiologists will describe the process of establishing and maintaining a healthy private practice.

Participants will be the guests of Oticon, Inc. with expenses for lodging and most meals being covered by Oticon, Inc. For those students flying into Denver International Airport (DIA), we will provide bus transportation free of charge between the airport and Keystone (a two hour ride) on Saturday, July 28th and departing on Thursday, August 2nd. Once you have you received notification of acceptance to camp, more detailed information will be provided about making your travel arrangements. In addition, upon arrival at the camp, Oticon will provide a $150 travel reimbursement stipend to all attending students.
