Quality Assurance Manager
Oticon, Inc, with U.S. operations based in Somerset, NJ, is a worldwide leader in hearing device technology! We seek a Quality Assurance Manager to be responsible for supervising and directing the Quality Staff, developing and implementing internal quality procedures, and maintaining ISO and FDA compliance in order to deliver hearing products and services in full compliance to Oticon quality standards while driving continuous improvement throughout the operation. Reporting to the V.P. of Operations, daily tasks include verifying testing, coordinating QC auditing and analysis to identify and correct internal defects; reporting to management recommendations for improvement; and driving implementation of new production methods and products. Must also work directly with customers (audiologists) to assess and improve product and service satisfaction as well as liaise between Oticon, Inc and Oticon A/S in matters of customer representation. To qualify, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in the sciences, have experience in a Medical Device environment and be well versed in manufacturing processes including the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques, development of quality standards and statistical and cause/effect analysis. Excellent communication and problem solving skills and knowledge of ISO and FDA procedures are required while ASQ certification is a big plus.
