Streamer Update 1.2

Important things to know about Streamer 1.2

The firmware in Streamer has been updated to work seamlessly with Oticon's new ConnectLine products. Here are some of the functions you should be aware of.

Changes in function from Streamer 1.1

  1. The Bluetooth light no longer pulses when the Bluetooth function is on. When the Bluetooth feature is turned on, the blue tooth light fades to sleep mode after a few seconds.
  2. In streaming mode the mic on mic off modes are now considered program shifts. Muting the hearing instrument is now performed by a long press of the Up-Down button. When using the phone, the mics will default to mute for the next call unless they are turned back on before the call ends.
  3. Streamer continues to pair up to 8 devices and can auto connect with up to three devices. Auto connect enables you to move between the cell phone, TV and landline phone without the need to reconnect.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Is there a way to "reset" Streamer and why would I want to do this?
Yes.  If there is a problem with pairing or connecting a device resetting the Streamer can correct the issue. Slide the on /off switch to green. Then press the phone button down until all the lights flash.
  2. Can I "delete" current pairings in Streamer?
Yes.  Press the Volume up and Phone button down at the same time for 10 seconds. If a cell phone is being deleted, make sure  the Streamer is also deleted from the phone before you re-pair it. When you re-pair the devices make sure to test them before adding a new one. This can be used following a "reset" function to correct if problems still exist.
  3. How can I tell the firmware in Streamer has been revised to 1.2?
On the silver identification plate on the back of the Streamer, there is a black dot in the lower left hand corner.  The Streamer is now compatible with ConnectLine.

How can I charge the Streamer in the car?
You can purchase a USB 5 volt adaptor for the car and use the USB cable provided with Streamer.
