Phase cancellation, not gain reduction!

Not only does the Dynamic Feedback Cancellation (DFC) system eliminate on-going feedback caused by the gain setting and the earmold fit, it also responds to sudden changes caused by actions such as chewing and hugging. Sumo DM's feedback cancellation system can provide an additional margin of up to 15 dB!  

To eliminate dynamic feedback, the DFC system sends an out-of-phase counter signal at the same frequency. This removes the whistling without decreasing the level of gain or affecting the sound quality. Adjustments are completed within milliseconds, without disturbing the user.
