Dual Fitting Flexibility
Broad fitting range
Dual will accommodate a wide range of hearing loss, from mild high frequency to moderately severe, up to 80dB. Genie 2008.2 software is fast and flexible to meet individual requirements.
Dual's two fitting rationales are:
- Voice Activated Compression (VAC) is ideal for broadband loss and is designed to restore volume and clarity in all listening situations.
- The Clarity 2 rationale is more frequently used for high frequency loss and is designed to boost speech understanding in background noise.
Speakers and Earpiece options
Dual speakers are made of a thin, transparent wire for a virtually invisible fit. Speakers are available in four lengths, #1 (shortest) to #4 (longest). The speakers attach to the Dual amplifier with a transparent connector to blend with all Dual color combinations.
Earpiece options provide great flexibility to personalize fittings based on hearing loss needs, and help to ensure comfort and retention of Dual devices.
