Transmit sound from computers and tablets wirelessly via Bluetooth or via mini jack cable into Streamer Pro
ConnectLine empowers you to easily transmit sound from a wide range of computers and tablets directly into your hearing aids –
to stay informed or to be entertained. You can connect Streamer Pro to your computer or tablet in two ways:

• Wirelessly via Bluetooth.
• Connected to the computer via mini jack cable inserted into Streamer Pro.

How to connect via a Bluetooth dongle

Getting started with ConnectLine and the Sennheiser BTD800 Bluetooth dongle

Many computers today have built-in Bluetooth for headset functionality – for using internet telephony and live video – or headphone functionality for audio listening. However, as there are many different ways of implementing both software and Bluetooth hardware, it can be difficult to establish a useful connection to the streamer.

Therefore, we recommend using the Sennheiser BTD800 dongle with Streamer Pro as it simplifies the use of Bluetooth with computers and ConnectLine.

Installing the Sennheiser BTD800 Bluetooth dongle

Read the BTD800 manual carefully before installing as the USB dongle will automatically be in pairing mode when inserted in the computer for the first time.

Pairing Streamer Pro with Sennheiser BTD800

When you are ready, make sure the Streamer is in pairing mode, or make sure you are ready to get the Streamer into pairing mode once the BTD800 dongle is inserted.

Pairing Streamer Pro wirelessly via Bluetooth

Some computers and tablets have built-in Bluetooth that enables a wireless connection between the device and streamer. Before the streamer can be used with other devices, the two devices have to be paired.

If you have problems pairing Streamer Pro via such Bluetooth connection, you can alternatively connect the streamer via a mini jack cable or consider using a Sennheiser BTD800 USB dongle that is easy to pair with Streamer Pro. (see further below)

Connecting Streamer Pro via mini jack

Via a mini jack cable, you can connect the streamer to your computer or tablet. Simply plug the cable into the device’s mini jack output (audio out), and you are ready to play.
